Introducing the Face Behind the Screen

Hey! I'm Kadeidre (pronounced Ka-dee-dra) the author or as I like to call it the face behind the screen. Many of my friends ask how I chose the nickname Kadee. Well when I was in high school I played softball and a few of my teammates called me K.D. short for Kadeidre. I really loved the nickname but never could get it to stick with family and friends. So of course I decided to make it my blog name. I chose the spelling because it is closer to the spelling of my actual name.

I know the title of this blog is "Introducing the Face Behind the Screen" so let me tell you a little bit about me. Well I'm 20 years old and currently work in the customer service industry (a call center to be exact). I know what your thinking, and yes its a great job for a college student to pay the bills but definitely not a career. Maybe you weren't thinking that but that is exactly what I thought when I got the job as a freshman in college. Another fun fact! I'm in college studying to get a degree in English Language and Literature. I love reading and writing so I thought why not choose a career where I can do both. So,

I'm most likely going to be a English teacher. I like to think that teaching could be my day job and I can write on the side and maybe get as big as John Green. I guess this is the best time to bring in my last fun fact I am a hopeless romantic. I love everything that has to do with love! My favorite movies are romantic comedies; and yes at one point of my life I fan girl over Zac Efron, Ansel Elgort, and of course Nathan Wolfe.
