Laying it Down

Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. -Psalm 55:22 ESV

These days I am learning that everything is not worth fighting for. Some battles are not worth waging. When I am in my flesh I tend to get haughty and think that I must fight or take action every time something is thrown my way. This couldn't be further from the truth. Like Psalm 55 says I am learning to cast my burdens on the Lord. I let him lessen my load and I find peace. Once I truly lay down everything and just trust my Father life runs smoothly. Humans are faulty and known for making errors. However, God is blameless and perfect. So I lay it all down and let him take control of my life. With God at my helm, I can not be stirred in the wrong direction.
