Tis the Season

I know I am not the only person who jumps into Christmas mode after October 31st. Once the Halloween humble jumbo stops it's time for me to put up my fairy lights and quite literally deck the halls with folly. For me, Christmas is a joyous time filled with love and warm memories. I'm not naive enough to believe it is the same way for everyone. I know this season can bring hardship for some. Especially with all this year has thrown at us many may not be in the joyful spirit. A word of encouragement I have for us all is that we made it. Despite the odds being stacked against us God was faithful and true to deliver us from this mess of a year. We're near the finish line and 2021 is going to give us everything 2020 took and more.

So, don't be heavy-hearted friends, this year and the next is all in God's hands. Romans 15:13 reads "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
